Installation

This guide will walk you through installing and setting up the MUP Compliance App in your Shopify store.

Prerequisites

• A Shopify store with admin access
• Products that contain alcohol (for MUP compliance)
• Access to Shopify Admin API

Installation Steps

1. Install the App

The app should already be installed in your Shopify store. If not, contact your administrator.

2. Grant Permissions

The app requires the following Shopify permissions:

• Read/Write Products - To read product metafields and create levy products
• Read/Write Orders - To tag orders for compliance tracking
• Read/Write Checkouts - To validate cart compliance
• Read/Write Cart Transforms - To add levy charges to carts
• Read Customers - To detect customer regions

These permissions are automatically requested during app installation.

3. Verify Installation

1. Navigate to your Shopify Admin
2. Go to Apps → MUP Compliance App
3. You should see the app dashboard with navigation to:
